Warehouse & Event Operations Manager

Eatontown, NJ · full-time

Class Kills is looking for an experienced, hands-on Warehouse & Event Operations Manager to lead the operational work behind our events.

This is not a desk-based management role. You’ll work alongside our warehouse and event teams to make sure every piece of equipment is tested, organized, packed, loaded, delivered, returned, and stored correctly. You’ll lead warehouse staff, manage preparation for upcoming events, and help ensure crews have the equipment and support they need to deliver exceptional client experiences.

You’ll also work closely with our Operations Manager and project teams to plan staffing, support larger audio and video projects, and lead events on-site when needed.

If you’re organized, accountable, technically capable, and comfortable leading a team in a fast-paced live-event environment, we’d love to meet you.

⸻

What You’ll Lead

You’ll lead the warehouse team responsible for preparing Class Kills equipment for weekday and weekend events.

This includes:

Managing warehouse staff and assigning daily responsibilities

Overseeing the testing, cleaning, organizing, storage, and maintenance of event equipment

Reviewing event packing lists and ensuring every required item is pulled, prepared, and accounted for

Making sure equipment is checked in and checked out accurately

Overseeing safe, organized, and efficient truck loading and unloading

Maintaining warehouse organization, inventory accuracy, and equipment readiness

Identifying damaged, missing, or malfunctioning equipment and coordinating repairs or replacements

Establishing clear procedures for equipment prep, returns, testing, storage, and accountability

Training team members on warehouse procedures, safe equipment handling, and company expectations

⸻

What You’ll Work On

You’ll work directly with the Operations Manager and leadership team to:

Manage daily and weekly warehouse priorities around the event calendar

Delegate warehouse and event staffing for weekday and weekend events

Coordinate equipment preparation, truck loading, event returns, and restocking

Review upcoming projects to ensure equipment, labor, and logistics are properly planned

Support quoting and technical design for larger audio, video, and production projects

Help develop equipment lists, production plans, and staffing needs for larger events

Communicate proactively with operations, project managers, and event crews about priorities, changes, and concerns

Improve systems that reduce mistakes, save time, and keep the warehouse and field teams moving

⸻

Event-Day Responsibilities

While the warehouse is your primary responsibility, this role includes running and supporting events on weekends as needed.

You’ll be expected to:

Lead or support on-site event crews

Ensure crews have the correct equipment, tools, and information before leaving the warehouse

Assist with load-ins, setup, troubleshooting, breakdowns, and returns

Coordinate team responsibilities on-site to keep events on schedule

Represent Class Kills professionally with clients, venues, vendors, and event partners

Solve logistical and technical challenges in real time

⸻

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for a leader who is proactive, organized, and willing to be hands-on.

You should have:

Experience in warehouse management, event production, AV, rentals, logistics, or a related field

Experience managing and motivating a warehouse, production, or event team

Familiarity with professional audio, video, lighting, staging, or event-production equipment

Strong organizational skills and close attention to detail

Experience with inventory management, equipment tracking, packing lists, and truck loading

The ability to prioritize multiple events and deadlines at once

Strong communication and problem-solving skills

A valid driver’s license

Availability for early mornings, evenings, and weekends as event schedules require

The ability to safely lift and move event equipment

Experience with live events, AV production, rental operations, or technical event logistics is strongly preferred.

⸻

What Success Looks Like in This Role

A successful Warehouse & Event Operations Manager always knows where upcoming events stand.

You’ll know what equipment is ready, what needs attention, what needs to be packed, who is assigned to each task, and whether every event is on track. Before a truck leaves the warehouse, you’ll take ownership of confirming that the crew has everything required to execute the event successfully.

You’ll be equally comfortable organizing a warehouse, reviewing an equipment list, directing a team, loading a truck, helping plan a large production, and leading an event crew on-site.

⸻

Why Class Kills?

At Class Kills, we bring together talent, technology, and production to create exceptional events. The warehouse is at the center of that work.

This role is an opportunity to lead a critical part of our operation, build stronger systems, support a growing team, and see the direct impact of your work every time an event leaves the warehouse prepared for success.

⸻

Our Hiring Philosophy

We’re looking for people who are curious, accountable, and excited to build.

We value initiative over titles, learning over knowing everything, and people who leave every process a little better than they found it.

If that sounds like you, we’d love to hear your story.
