Finance Operations Intern

Beginning in 2025, Class Kills successfully partnered with Monmouth University’s Computer Science program to build and automate software engineering workflows using an AI-first approach. Together, we standardized development pipelines, reduced manual effort, and built scalable systems that continue to support our growing technology platform.

We’re now bringing that same mindset to finance.

As our Finance Operations Intern, you’ll work alongside company leadership to learn how accounting, technology, and automation come together to power a growing business. This isn’t a traditional accounting internship focused only on data entry or bookkeeping. You’ll gain hands-on experience with real financial operations while helping us explore how AI and modern technology can make finance faster, smarter, and more scalable.

What You’ll Learn

Throughout your internship, you’ll gain practical experience in:

• Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
• Customer invoicing and collections
• Bank and credit card reconciliations
• General Ledger accounting
• Month-end financial close
• Financial reporting and Line of Business P&Ls
• Job costing and profitability analysis
• Accounting systems and financial technology
• Process documentation and operational improvement
• AI and automation in modern finance

What You’ll Work On

You’ll work directly with our leadership team to:

• Support day-to-day accounting and financial operations
• Organize and improve financial reporting
• Help document accounting workflows and standard operating procedures
• Identify repetitive processes that can be standardized or automated
• Build dashboards, templates, and reporting tools
• Assist with integrating accounting, banking, payroll, and operational systems
• Explore practical applications of AI within finance and accounting

No two weeks will look exactly the same. You’ll gain exposure to real business challenges and have the opportunity to contribute meaningful improvements that continue long after your internship ends.

You should also be:
