JBL Demo Day at Class Kills in Eatontown, NJ

Class Kills welcomed Sigmet Corp and Harman to our Eatontown, New Jersey facility for a dedicated JBL Demo Day on August 11, 2026.

For our team, this was more than a product demonstration. It was a chance to spend time with new JBL professional loudspeakers, compare them alongside the systems we already deploy, and continue learning from the people who support the products we use in the field.

We love JBL. It is a major part of the Class Kills sound inventory, and it continues to be a trusted option for our event production, rentals, venue work, and larger sound-system needs throughout New Jersey and the Tri-State area.

For anyone looking for a JBL speaker demo in Eatontown, NJ—or researching professional JBL sound systems for an event, venue, or installation—this day reflected the kind of real-world equipment conversation we value at Class Kills.

New JBL SRX Speakers Demonstrated by Sigmet Corp and Harman

The demo introduced three new JBL SRX models:

  • JBL SRX922

  • JBL SRX915

  • JBL SRX912

The session was led by Cliff Barkalow, Sales Manager at Sigmet Corp, and Matt Lawrence, National Sales Manager, Performance Products at Harman.

We are grateful to Cliff and Matt for taking the time to visit Class Kills in Eatontown. Their product knowledge, support, and willingness to have an in-depth conversation with our team made the day valuable.

Professional audio is about more than specifications. It is about understanding how a system fits a room, a production plan, a client’s expectations, and the people operating it. Having representatives like Cliff and Matt on-site helps turn a product demo into a meaningful working session.

Class Kills JBL Sound System Setup

To put the new JBL models into context, Class Kills set up a selection of the JBL equipment we own and use.

Our demo system included:

  • JBL SRX812

  • JBL SRX906

  • JBL SRX918

The complete system was controlled from our Allen & Heath SQ5 digital console with an Allen & Heath AB168 stage box.

This gave our team an opportunity to evaluate the new SRX products alongside familiar JBL equipment in a professional sound-system workflow.

Class Kills JBL Inventory

Class Kills carries a growing selection of JBL professional audio equipment for production and rental applications:

  • 4 JBL SRX906 BP accessories

  • 2 JBL SRX906 Fly Array systems

Why JBL Demos Matter for Event Production

Choosing professional speakers should not be limited to reading a spec sheet.

A JBL speaker demo allows production teams, venue operators, event planners, and clients to better understand how a system may fit their specific needs. The right system depends on the room, coverage requirements, program material, audience size, production schedule, and supporting equipment.

At Class Kills, we approach audio planning as part of the full event experience. The goal is always clear, reliable sound that supports what is happening in the room.

JBL Demo Day gave us the opportunity to continue that conversation with Sigmet Corp and Harman while keeping our own inventory and future production needs in view.
